About Poyan

Poyan realised early on that companies need to take their employer brand seriously. Since graduating from the School of Business, Economics and Law eleven years ago, he has devoted himself to building employer branding and the recruitment company Oddwork.

If people are fundamental to a company’s ability to achieve its strategic goals, then the process of attracting, recruiting and retaining employees is a fundamental part of the strategic journey.

Today, Poyan is one of Sweden’s most knowledgeable in the field. The customer list includes some of Sweden’s and the world’s leading employer brands, such as AstraZeneca, Saab, Axfood and Kindred.

There are often many challenges for companies when it comes to their employer branding. Where should we begin? Should we portray an external image of ourselves as employers that our relevant target groups will like? Should we look inward into the organisation to determine what is good, before we make outward efforts? What exactly is the goal of having a strong corporate culture? What makes us unique, and most fundamental of all – what skills will we need in the future to be able to achieve our strategic goals? If any of these questions are relevant to you, then Poyan is the right person to talk to.

He is happy to share his experiences of hundreds of cases in different industries and different companies. He is masterful at transforming complex and often elusive issues into specific actions, and he will inspire you to action. There are few questions he has not encountered within the framework of Employer Branding, and you can always expect straight answers to any questions you ask. Poyan’s experience is huge, and that makes him a confident, creative and solution oriented adviser.

To keep track of today’s talent market and understand what the future workplace needs to look like, he spends a good deal of time thinking about what the future may hold. Here he has access to a fantastic resource in the 5,000 candidates Oddwork meets each year in the course of its recruitment activities. Poyan’s hypotheses have, amongst other things, attracted attention on TV4 Nyhetsmorgon, where Poyan both participated as a guest and presented reports together with the West Sweden Chamber of Commerce.

In a meeting with Poyan, in addition to strategic thinking, you will be able to be very specific. In one hour, you can together hammer out a general set of specific actions… ‘Try this tool’, ‘try this tactic’.

When he’s not engaged in employer branding, Poyan works as an actor. Among other things, he has appeared in several Guldbagge- (Golden Beetle) winning films, one of which, A Man Named Ove, has even been nominated for an Oscar. The film world has given him the ability to understand the different cultures within different companies – getting to know a role is similar to getting to know the culture of a company.
